An Overall Assessment on the Foundations About Political Culture and Political Leadership Concept in Turkey

A political leader has an important status in representing the society. The way they use the authorization that is given to them is, in case, related with the administrative and political structure of the society. At this point, society's political culture environment also affects the leadership perception. The leadership perception in Turkey has been in question more of sudden and in an limited competitive environment. Besides, settlements in our political culture has been in leadership centered. The concepts like leader centered politics, tyranny, first man has left a mark in our political history and they originate with our political culture. Political culture left over from Ottoman has influenced this. Turkish society has had leadership political culture because of both historical heritage and freshness of its democracy. In this study, problems in leadership perception with its reasons and suggested solutions will be investigated by putting the influences of our political culture on leadership perception forward. First of all a political culture analysis will be done in the study and a leadership perception will be attempted to manifest, because the opinions that the problems of political leadership is more related to political culture than judiciary is prominent
