The Effect of Social Skill Training on Social Skill and Psychological Well-Being among Counselor Candidates

In this research, the effect of social skill education on success level of social skill and psychological well-being of the psychological counselor candidates was examined. The research was an experimental design, and “2x3 split plot design” was used Quantitative data of the research are obtained by using “Social Skill Inventory” which is adaptation to Turkish by Yüksel and Success Scales of “Psychological Well-being” which is adaptation to Turkish by Cenkseven. When findings obtained from this research are examined, significantly increasing is observed on the success level of social skill and psychological well-being in the end of implementation and post-implementation. Continuation of the effect which is found in post-implementation is determined when there is no differentiation in measurement analysis of the success level of social skill and psychological well-being in post-implementation
