THE EFFECT OF AGING ON THE SURFACE ROUGHNESS OF BEECH VENEERS

In this study, the effects of aging on surface roughness were investigated by applying aging process on beech wood veneers. Samples prepared from beech veneers were first subjected to aging after air conditioning in the air conditioning cabinet. Surface roughness values of the samples were measured by Marsurf M300 according to ISO 4287 standards. Ra, Rz and Rmax values of the test samples were determined.
