ANALYZING OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DEATH AND RELIGION IN THE POEMS OF NECIP FAZIL KISAKUREK IN TERMS OF THE PSYCHOLOGY OF RELIGION

Necip Fazil Kisakurek, one of the most important poets of the 20th century, gave a lot of place to the subject of death in his poems. An important feature of these poems is that they include some religious references. From this point of view, when making psychological examination of his poems about death, he works the death in a negative and melancholic context in the period when he lived relatively distant from religion. While fear of death and desperation against death are prominent in this period’s poems, the situation changes after his religious conversion. After stepping into a more intense religious life, he attempted to destroy the fear of death by means of some religious teachings. At this point, especially the mystical content seems to be effective
