ASSESSMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS OF QUALIFIED EXPERT AND TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM WITH HYBRID FUZZY DEMATEL AND FUZZY COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION

One of the most important aims of graduate education is to make students ready for their potential profession. In the study, the qualifications needed to be a successful quality specialist and the interactions between them have been examined. Dokuz Eylül University Graduate School of Social Sciences Total Quality Management program has been examined and the success levels of the courses have been evaluated. In the study, a linguistic scale was used based on expert opinions to obtain impact scores on the competences required to be successful Quality Experts for each lesson according to the model created in the hierarchical structure. Based on linguistic scale, course and program scores were obtained with an integrated approach including Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation and Fuzzy DEMATEL Methods. First the profession competences have been assessed in an interactive way with Fuzzy DEMATEL and after that the effect levels of the courses on competences are evaluated with Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation. The effectiveness of the courses and the program has been achieved in terms of profession's success. Suggestions have been made for students to choose which elective courses to make more positive contributions to their careers
