《离散数学》是计算机及有关学科的一门重要的基础核心课程，而计算机及其有关学科在高职院校中的开设越来越普遍，在职业本科中更是占据重要地位，其教学方式和教学内容应适应时代发展的需要。本文主要探讨高职及职业本科院校中《离散数学》课程开设的必要性及开设课程的教学尝试，从而提高学生的学习兴趣，激发学生的探索欲望，培养学生运用数学思维解决计算机中问题的能力。
