ANTROPOLOGíAS DE LAS ANTROPOLOGíAS: BUSCANDO CIERTAS CONDICIONES PARA SU EMERGENCIA Y CONSOLIDACIóN

over different time periods and under different circumstances, various forms of anthropology, rooted in their respective national frameworks in latin america and worldwide, have been raising questions related to their own games of identity and difference. such a task has been carried out collectively through already established debates at international meetings and seminars. it has also come into play through domestic reflections mainly induced by national seminars. taking this into consideration, it is interesting that we ask ourselves why we have chosen to do an anthropology of the anthropologies, or better still whether there are causes or aspects particular to our field of studies that encourage such reflections - and if so, which would they be.
