Fases y factores críticos de éxito en la evolución de una empresa innovadora de base tecnológica (EIBT): el caso de movil+ C.A

this article constitutes a part of an exploratory qualitative research supported in a multiple cases study about the creation of new technology-based firms (ntbfs) developed by venezuelan entrepreneurs. the ntbfs are defined as companies that operate with products, processes and services where the technology is considered new or innovating; they are organizations that generate their own technology and offer high value added products and services by its high technological content. the objective of the investigation is to improve the understanding of the processes that lead to the creation and development of ntbfs. through the study of the case of movil+ c.a., firm incubated in the technological park of sartenejas (pts), the evolution of a ntbf is analyzed in order to identify the events and key factors for its success across the different phases from its cycle of life. a technology-based firm has special characteristics and critical success keys which change throughout the diverse phases of its development. this aspect should be taken into account by the technological parks and the business incubators in order to align their development strategies with those of the incubated firms.
