this document attempts to give a general overview of collective rights, and particularly, their distinction in class actions and group. it highlights (noteworthy) the importance of legal debate on collective rights, making a synthesis of his theoretical approach. we will study the issue in the context of colombian law, in order to reflect and provide a view on this subject in relation to legal developments in latin america from a comparative perspective.
